Tips to help with headaches and neck pain

Looking down at computers, laptops, cell phones and tablets is not normal. Our spines are not designed for this sort of posture day in and day out. I understand that most of us need to work from our computers and phones these days so here are some tips to correct any underlying ergonomic issues that can contribute to you neck pain.

  • Move all of your computer or laptop screens to eye level. You can get an adjustable monitor or laptop holder from office works at an affordable price
  • Avoid looking down at your cell phone. Hold your cell phone close to eye level whenever using it
  • Invest in a good pillow that supports the curves of your neck and make sure to replace your pillows every 2-3 years
  • When sleeping, sleep on your side or back not on your stomach
